Agreement
TwinFyRx is a product of TwinDrift LLC (“TwinDrift”, “we”). By using twinfyrx.com, the TwinFyRx API, or Drug Code Resolver by TwinFyRx in ChatGPT or another assistant (together, the “services”), you agree to these terms. If you use the services for an organization, you agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
The services
The services return reference data about drug products: identifiers (NDC, RxNorm, HCPCS), names, ingredients, strengths, dose forms, classifications and published prices. The plugin answers one lookup at a time, without an account. It is read-only — it cannot change anything on your behalf.
Coverage has limits, and the tools say so rather than guess: a code we do not hold is reported as not found, an input that fits more than one code is reported as ambiguous with every candidate, and retired codes are reported as inactive or obsolete. “Not found” means we have no record; it does not prove a code was never assigned.
Not medical advice
The services describe drug products. They do not diagnose, treat, or recommend starting, stopping or changing any medication, and they are not a substitute for a pharmacist, a prescriber or a product’s labeling. Do not rely on them for dispensing, dosing or any decision about an individual patient. An assistant may add its own wording around our data; that wording is the assistant’s, not ours.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- send protected health information or anything else that identifies a patient or member
- use the plugin, demos or Developer tier to extract the dataset in bulk, or to build a competing dataset or lookup service
- get around rate limits, or disrupt or probe the services other than through good-faith security research reported to us
- resell or redistribute the data without a license from us
- use the services in violation of law, or of the terms of the assistant you reach them through
The plugin is rate limited. If you need volume, batch enrichment or redistribution rights, that is what the paid plans are for — see pricing or email [email protected].
Data and sources
TwinFyRx is built on public sources, which keep their own terms. Answers name the source they came from and the date our copy was last refreshed.
- RxNorm, from the U.S. National Library of Medicine. This product uses publicly available data from the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services; NLM is not responsible for the product and does not endorse or recommend this or any other product.
- National Drug Codes and labeling data from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
- Medicare Part D formulary files, NADAC, Medicare Part B ASP pricing files and the ASP NDC–HCPCS crosswalk from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
HCPCS Level II codes are maintained by CMS. CPT codes are owned by the American Medical Association and are not returned by the plugin. Source data changes on its publisher’s schedule, so an answer can lag the source.
Paid plans
Professional and Enterprise access, licensed data files and the SDK are provided under a separate written agreement. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement governs.
Ownership
TwinDrift owns the services and the TwinFyRx compilation, enrichment layers, software and marks. Public source data remains public. You may use the answers you receive in your own work; these terms do not grant a right to republish the dataset.
Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, TwinDrift disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We work to keep the data correct and current but do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or uninterrupted. You are responsible for checking an answer against the source before relying on it.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, TwinDrift is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from the services. Our total liability for any claim arising from the free services is limited to US $100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension
We may limit, suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts the services at risk, and we may change or withdraw a free service. You may stop using the services at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the current version; continuing to use the services after a change means you accept it.
